Stay up to date with SkyWise

Aviation is a dynamic industry, and SkyWise allows you to stay up-to-date with news, safety alerts, consultations, rule changes, airspace amendments and more from the CAA. It replaces our previous information notices and keeps you up to date with information that isn’t safety critical, with a more instant, tailored service.

SkyWise alerts

You can find alerts on this website, or sign up to receive personalised email notifications.

Categories ranging from airside safety to private pilot training allow you to see only the information that matters to you. And the alerts are kept short and to the point, providing a top-level overview with a link to more information if you want it.

If you have any questions or comments, you can contact us at content@caa.co.uk.

EASA updates

SkyWise notifications may mention guidance from EASA when the UK CAA needs to refer to this information. We recommend that you subscribe with EASA if you would like to receive updates from directly from them.

Safety critical information and official record series documents

This service allows you subscribe to receive email notifications for:

  • Safety Critical Information, including Safety and Emergency Airworthiness Directives
  • CAA Safety Notices

You can register and manage your account, through the CAA portal.
