Measurement and Analysis of Aircraft Noise and Radar Data

The CAA has published CAP3150 Measurement and Analysis of Aircraft Noise and Radar Data, which describes the procedures used by the Environmental Research and Consultancy Department (ERCD) for measuring and analysing noise and radar data from aircraft operations.

Good practice measurement guidance is also provided to airports and other stakeholders on issues to consider when conducting their own aircraft noise studies.
